Pure Body Fitness is a private training Studio in Los Alamitos, California. We specialize in one-on-one training and have the most innovative group classes available. We are one of the only gyms offering the rotational versatility of the “Cross Core/War Machine” Rotation Body weight Trainer. We also offer “Johnny G’s Krankcycle” classes and Slide Board classes. Here at Pure Body Fitness, we believe you should train as nature intended; utilizing rotational movement while providing an increase in strength and power. We also believe rotational based training is the key to success in rehab as well as excelling your regular training. Allison, owner of Pure Body Fitness, states that rotation is one of the motions that is key to unlocking much of the body’s natural potential when it comes to speed, agility, quickness, and strength as well as power generation. With this in mind, it makes sense to train the body how to move properly by insuring all work-outs encompass multidimensional movements (frontal, sagittal, and transverse) in order to increase daily functions .
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
“Cross Core/ War Machine” Class Description:
Our Cross Core classes reach a whole new platform of training. Cross Core/ War Machine classes do it all, strength, cardiovascular, core, stability, and flexibility rolled into every format. CrossCore is a revolutionary piece of rotational body weight training that allows your body to make natural movements through every exercise. As a dynamic piece of equipment, it utilizes main muscle groups, stabilizer muscles, and core musculature’s at the same time guaranteeing that your body is performing at its highest abilities.
There are four group classes for Cross Core/War Machine Classes
• FLOW: Non stop movement through upper and lower body positions
• CIRCUIT: Integrates multiple additional tools and gym toys to add to the rotational workout
• STRENGTH: Body part emphasis
• STABILITY: Destabilizing all movements, the most advance class offered.
JOHNNY G’S KRANKCYCLE CLASS DESCRIPTION:
1. KRANKING: Kranking is an upper-body rotational exercise
performed on the Johnny G. Krankcycle by Matrix which provides aerobic and anaerobic conditioning, builds strength, increases metabolism, and conditions the upper body including the abdonimals, chest, back, arms and shoulders.
2. KrankCircuit: KrankCircuit integrates the Johnny G.Krankcycle by Matrix into a full-body cardiovascular and muscular fitness workout that blasts calories.
SLIDE-BOARD CLASS DESCRIPTION:
SLIDE-BOARD CLASSES: This is a new and unique slide-board class designed to accommodate beginning to advanced levels of fitness l. The slide-boards are fully adjustable from 2-12 feet, as you become more comfortable on the board the length can be increased. You will be sliding from side-to-side working every muscle of your legs, primarily the hips and inner thighs. The class is 90 minutes (divided into six separate sets) sliding for a period of time with rest phases, using hand weights, or the Cross Core Rotational Body Weight trainer for strength, along with core work. Slide-board class is not recommended for those with knee and back injuries, due to the side -to-side motion and bent over position while on the board.
